Gail Miller Bisher is a seasoned communications, marketing, and public relations executive with extensive experience leading high-profile brands, national media relations, and large-scale live events. As Director of Communications for the Westminster Kennel Club, she directed integrated campaigns across broadcast, digital, print, and live platforms, driving significant audience growth, expanding global media reach, and supporting major sponsorship and revenue initiatives.
A trusted on-camera analyst and spokesperson, Gail partnered closely with FOX Sports to produce and pre-produce live telecasts and ancillary programming, while also serving as an on-air analyst for annual live coverage. She led Best in Show media tours, generating billions of impressions annually, and represented organizations across national and international media. Her work and commentary have appeared on Netflix, WIRED, FOX Sports, ESPN, NBC, CNN.com, and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Earlier in her career, Gail held senior leadership roles at the American Kennel Club, where she built award-winning brand, licensing, and media programs; expanded televised event coverage across multiple national networks; and helped launch AKC Meet the Breeds, now one of the organization’s largest and most successful consumer-facing events.

Dog Sports Experience
Gail’s professional credibility is grounded in a lifelong involvement in dog sports, which gives her a firsthand perspective on her media and leadership roles. She made history at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show by earning Second Place in the Junior Showmanship Finals, becoming the first exhibitor to place with a Bearded Collie.
Over the course of her career, she has handled dogs to All-Breed and National Specialty Best in Show wins, as well as national rankings. She has trained and titled her own dogs across multiple disciplines, including conformation, obedience, rally, advanced Canine Good Citizen, herding, and earthdog. Today, she is an AKC-licensed dog show judge, bringing a broad, breed-centered perspective informed by decades of experience inside and outside the ring.
